It’s not often that our constitutional law expert, Pierre de Vos, finds his utterances on Twitter challenged let alone being asked to substantiate his claims. But when he tweeted claims that Andile Mngxitama of BlackFirstLandFirst was on the Gupta’s payroll, it took a lawyer, Christine Qunta, to remind him that unsubstantiated claims are nothing but slurs.

While his fans merrily re-tweeted his assertions that the Guptas weren’t paying Mngxitama to “embarrass Minister Dlamini”, Qunta simply asked him to provide proof of Mngxitama being on the Gupta payroll.

The good professor didn’t respond. When 24 hours lapsed and he still hadn’t responded, Qunta returned to post a few words of wisdom.

  1. Yes yes yes!!! We are now getting somewhere, on the road to realisation that Blacks indeed have brains like anybody else. Amandla to Sis’ Christine and all others out there who have realised that the dream of a ‘Rainbow nation’ before psychological liberation was premature.
